Darkness Unbound Is A Gread Book For Fantasy Readers

Sofia Casas, Staff Writer

Darkness Unbound by Keri Arthur is about Risa Jones. Jones is half werewolf and half Aedh.  Ever since Risa was a child she could see reapers, not skeletons with black robes on, but a normal person that you can’t see. You can only see a reaper if it is your time to die. Risa and her friends Tao and Llianna meet the reaper and he has information that can be shocking to Risa and her Mother. Risa’s Father comes into the picture but in a good way. Risa’s father tied to protect the worlds from the Gates of Hell. Risa has never met her father because there is a legend that said that Aedh only have children when they know that there death is close. Risa and her friends get into some trouble when Risa’s Father put Risa in a situation that involves her protecting the world from the gates from Hell. Being loyal to Risa, her friends are with her every step of the way and with the journey.

I like this book because it had some action and some drama. If you like to read fiction that has a female main role than this can be a good book for you. Risa is dangerous when she wants to be like when she is sent by her father to protect the Earth from the Gate of Hell.  She can kill but when she is calm and relaxed she can be snappy and sarcastic by nature, and I like that about her.

The Book has a lot of action and also has romantic scenes with Risa and a man she meets. Darkness Bound is Fiction. Darkness Bound had werewolves, vampires, Aedh, reapers, and psychics. I would recommend this book to whoever has read Anita Blake the Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K. Hamilton or for those of you who really like books with vampires, werewolves or other kinds of supernatural creatures.
