Fall Senior Night Celebration / Final Football Home Game

Joshua Allen, Staff Writer

October 18, 2019 was the last home game of the regular football season. It was also senior night for fall sports and activities. We asked two senior varsity players how it felt to play their last home game for the regular season in Al Simpler Stadium.

Terrance Crumpton: “Well, it doesn’t feel like it hit actually. It just hasn’t hit yet. Right now, I think I did what I did, and we went out good.”

Qua’vez Humphreys: “I mean I felt pretty good about it being my last game. I mean it didn’t really hit me until this weekend, taking senior pictures and stuff like that. It’s not really our last home game because we have playoffs coming, but after that it’s going to hit me a little harder. Stay tuned for basketball.”

During halftime, seniors participating in any fall sport and some activities, including band, were recognized for their participation and dedication to their activity. Parents and family took to the field to take pictures with their seniors.
