March 18, 2019
The return of spring sports brings back memorable athletes. Javontez “Tez” Brime is a senior returning for his final season of track. The previous season entailed some notable achievements. Last year, Brime attended state alongside the 4×100 relay team which also included alumni Ian Sanchez, Izayiah Moore, and sophomore David Giddens.
Tez also competes in all hurdle events and is expected to take the torch from alumni Jamarcus Plato who placed 3rd in both the 110 meter high hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles.
Great things are to come for Javontez so we decided to ask him a few questions about his final Track season as a Blue Jay.
