The sneakerhead and streetwear community has grown immensely in the last few years. Every day, more and more kids want to get their hands on the newest brand name clothing items. However, many don’t know how to find them. Here are three ways to score trendy clothes and shoes.

 SNKRS

This is Nike’s app for buying new sneakers. These shoes are given specific release dates, along with times. Once that time has hit, the user can then buy the shoes in one of two ways, depending on the type of release. The first method is through a raffle, which is often times used for highly anticipated releases. The other method is used for most releases, which is first come, first serve. In reality, obtaining anticipated sneakers is still extremely difficult and most will have to pay the resale value for the shoes they want. To obtain this app, just visit the app store and search “SNKRS”.

 Grailed

Grailed is a platform in which people can buy and sell their clothing/footwear. It is essentially a hypebeast Ebay where you can buy anything from Gucci- to Supreme to -Vans. If you are unhappy with a price, you can always negotiate with the seller. The app is very easy to navigate and allows you to search by designer, size, price, type of clothing, date added, and keyword.

StockX

StockX is an app/site that allows users to buy sneakers and streetwear for resale price. Ideally, most would like to get their shoes from apps like SNKRS, where they are able to pay retail price, however that does not always work out. As a result, most come to apps like StockX to obtain their favorite shoes. Although the prices can be high, StockX is a place where you are always guaranteed to get the shoe that you want.

These are only three of the many apps that you can use to find the overpriced streetwear/footwear of your dreams. If you are highly interested in this community and want to learn more, I recommend watching YouTubers such as Bull1trc or even JC’s own TayHaveMercy.
