This past Saturday in Augusta, Kansas, the Junction City High School Forensics team brought 8 team members to compete against 22 other Kansas teams. They had Kaydra Baer entered in Poetry and Oration, she took fifth place in Oration. Jaedn Cooper entered in Poetry and Duet with Jordan Bailey. The duet took second place, qualifying for state again. Jordan Bailey also entered in Prose, and got fifth place. The team also brought Trystan Layne, entered in Poetry and Prose. Sean Tucker entered in Prose and Impromptu. Taylor Ellison entered in Duet and Dramatic Interpretation. Annalee Pellicotte entered in Duet. Lastly, Reginald Robinson entered in Prose, Extemporaneous, and Impromptu. Their next tournament will be Saturday, February 11 in Abilene.
