On Wednesday, April 20th, eight students from Junction City High School traveled to Hays for the FHSU Annual Art Exhibition. Each student had the opportunity to display artwork and a panel of 6 judges awarded Certificates of Merit to select artwork at the show. Over 50 high schools from across the state of Kansas were in attendance. Overall, 10 pieces from JCHS students received these awards. Kendall Talley received 3, Sereima Sanchez received 2, Luise Von Haugwitz received 2, Saidie Halk received 1, Briann Crosier received 1, and Sierra Mortimer received 1.
