Blue Jays Lose Double Header

On Tuesday, April 19th, 2016 the Junction City Blue Jays baseball team took on the Washburn Rural Blues in a double header. Washburn Rural won both games in the series.

The first game started with Chip Ozores, senior, as the starting pitcher facing a 3-0 Washburn Rural team. The Blue Jays couldn’t answer the offense of the Blues which eventually led to a 7-1 loss.

The second game started with Kris Quidachay, senior, as the starting pitcher. Washburn’s momentum carried over to the second game with an 11-3 win.

The losses left the Blue Jays with a 5-5 record and Washburn continued their undefeated record with a 5-0 record.

The next game is Thursday, April 21st, 2016 at Rathert Stadium against the Highland Park Scots. This will be a double header starting at 4:00 pm.
