Spring Break To Do List

Spring Break To Do List

Andrea Domek, Staff Writer

As spring break is fastly approaching a lot of us are asking ourselves “What will I do this spring break?” Here is a list of ideas that can get you through spring break and save you from five days of boredom.

  • Go to the batting cages

There is a batting cage located right here in Junction City just a few miles away from the school.

  • Try and make a new recipe

Pinterest is a great place to find new recipes to make

  • Go to the zoo

There are many locations throughout the state to choose from such as the Sedgwick County Zoo, in Wichita and  the Kansas City Zoo. If you want to stay more local there is the Topeka Zoo or Sunset Zoo in Manhattan

  • Eat a picnic at the lake

Take one of the new recipes you made and go to Milford Lake. Maybe you could even stick around and watch the sunset.

  • Go paintballing

Foxhole paintball is located right here in Junction City.

  • Eat Varsity Donuts

Probably the best donuts around, it’s worth the trip to Manhattan.

  • Get 50 cent wings at Buffalo Wild Wings

Every Tuesday and Thursday 50 cent wings are available. 5 is the minimum you can order and 100 is the maximum.

  • Go to the Beach Museum at K-State

An art museum located right near Aggieville. Admission is free for the general public.

  • Pete’s shaved ice
  • Check out B and B theater, the new movie theater in Junction City.

With new reclining seats and a new concession stand I’m sure you’ll enjoy your time.

  • Go Ziplining in Kansas City
  • Go thrift shopping

Rockstar Rogers is a great option. Or if you’re in Topeka Plato’s Closet is another option for name brand clothes.

  • Take a walk on a nature trail
