Finally, it’s that time of the year again!

To start off the winter season, ABC Family presents “25 Days of Christmas.” Which is an event that began on December 1st and will end on Christmas Day. The network will show Christmas movies for holiday spirit throughout the month from 4pm-12pm. This program will consist of many old and new Christmas movies that we know and love. Not only will ABC Family be showing movies but also, new regular series of shows that will be coming out for this event. The popular series of Pretty Little Liars, Melissa & Joey, and Baby Daddy will be showing new episodes with a Christmas theme this month.

Before the programming of “25 days of Christmas” there was a “Countdown To 25 Days of Christmas” that viewers were able to watch fun filled movies waiting for the big event to start..

“Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas”

  • Based on the classical book by Dr. Seuss, Jim Carrey plays the awful Grinch who hates Christmas and tries to destroy it by stealing all the presents from the Who’s. The Grinch then discovers he actually loves Christmas. “Who” doesn’t enjoy a Christmas movie? Tune in on December 14th to view this classic.

“Disney’s A Christmas Carol”

  • This Christmas story is based off one of the most traditional Christmas story we all know and love. Jim Carry plays Ebenezer Scrooge who is visited by the ghost of Christmas past, present and future. Tune in to ABC Family on December 17th

“The Polar Express”

  • This strong felt movie tells a story about a child believing in Santa and travels to the North Pole. This Christmas tale will take you back in time to your childhood and remember the love of Santa. Tune in to ABC Family on December 15th to discover the hidden treasures of the Polar Express.

“Home Alone”

  • Let’s travel back to the 90’s where every little kid loved watching this adventurous Christmas movie. This movie tells a story of a boy being “home alone” for the holiday and encounters bad people trying to steal from his home. The little boys’ mission was to stop the bad guys. If you’re “Home Alone” tune in to this special on December 16th.
