Lemonade Stand Raises Funds for Hurricane Relief
October 27, 2017
During both lunches 0n October 23rd, the entrepreneurship class hosted a lemonade stand as a fundraiser to raise money for hurricane victims.
“It’s going toward hurricane relief in Puerto Rico, and I think the charity was called Unidos por Puerto Rico,” senior Trinity Cook said.
Although the fundraiser was brief, the students considered it successful.
“We made ninety-six dollars and thirty-one cents,” Cook said.
While the fundraiser was able to raise money for hurricane relief, there is no plan to have another fundraiser in the near future.
“I mean if we could I would, it would be nice. But I don’t think it’s really on the agenda,” Cook replied.
