Blue Jays Dominate in First Win

The Junction City Blue Jays have looked to turn the page for this season following Fridays win against Topeka West. The Blue Jays won the game 60-21 and have improved their record on the season to 1-2.
After the previous two weeks filled with turnovers and missed opportunities the Blue Jays have turned the page and gotten their first win with hopes of many to follow.
The Blue Jays dominated the ground game with a team total of 443 rushing yards as well as junior quarterback Rooster Adams leading the team with 144 rushing yards and 3 rushing touchdowns. Junior fullback Baylor Wilkey bounced back from his early season woes with a nice game contributing to the rushing total with 113 rushing yards of his own.
The Blue Jays look to continue turning the page as they prepare for Washburn Rural. The Blue Jays take on the Washburn Rural Blues on September 22nd at Al Simpler Stadium.
