The first solar eclipse visible in the south since 1970 revealed itself on Monday, August 21st. The students of JCHS got the chance to go outside to view the rare occurrence during their third hour, but due to poor weather conditions, the eclipse was a little difficult to see. This slight issue did not discourage the students as they continued to stay outside and look at the sun.
