Prom is one of the most memorable things you will experience in High School. With Prom coming up it’s important to understand how expensive it can be. While not everybody will spend as much as others, there is a huge difference in how expensive it is, especially between Men and Women.

In most cases, it is much more common for the girl to spend more money on prom than boys. But it is almost unmistakably true that prom for everyone will cost them at least a hundred dollars, and for those who go all out, it can cost anywhere from $400 to well over a thousand. For those who decide to take a limo, it can cost them over $150 alone.

“I spent $300 for my dress and $100 for everything else.” says Stephanie Austin, a Senior.

“I spent around $200 for everything.” says Rhaelynn Flores, a senior.

“I spent $140 for my tux and I’ll probably spend more on dinner and flowers.” says Michael Shaver, a senior.

“I’ve spent $150 so far.” said Kara Senesac, a senior.
