Blue Jays vs Emporia Game Postponed

Jose Baquero, Sports reporter

The Blue Jay baseball team traveled to Emporia yesterday to face the Spartans. Due to bad weather, the game was stopped during the bottom of the 4th and will continue next Tuesday.

The Blue Jays had just made a line up change before the game was stopped. With Ty Clark still on the mound, they were looking to make a come back and finish up the game the right way. Hopefully, the Blue Jays can come back and pull off the win.

Ty Clark was given the nod to start on the mound once again. Clark pitched exceptionally, especially considering the weather conditions. The Blue Jays were leading 2-1 going into the third inning, but lost the lead due to a big inning set up by the Spartans.

Junction City plays its first home game against Hayden High School on Friday at Rathert Stadium. The Emporia game will be made up on next Tuesday at 4.
