On Tuesday, February 7, 2017, the Blue Jays traveled to Hayden to take on the Hayden Wildcats. The Blue Jays lost the game 61-53 but continued to fight throughout the game and made it close. At the half, the Blue Jays were down 42-24, but they came out on fire in the third quarter going on an 18-4 run and bringing the game to a score of 46-39. As the game came close to a finish, the Blue Jays ran out of juice and could not finish the comeback. Harvey continued to dominate opponents and finished the game with seven dunks on the Blue Jays. AJ Dickerson finished the game with 16 points; all scored in the second half.
