Senior Adam Campbell To Attend West Point

Adam Campbell, a senior at Junction City High-School was recently accepted into the United States Military Academy also known as West Point.

West Point is a very prestigious military academy, which only accepts 10% of all applicants.  Additionally, Campbell was accepted into the United States Naval Academy.

“It was a hard choice between the two but in the end, I chose West Point. Now all I got to do is get through High-School,” Campbell said.

Campbell was shocked to learn he was accepted to both of his dream schools.

“I have always wanted to go to either of those schools; I didn’t expect to get into both of them,” Campbell said.

Campbell is a part of JROTC military program and additionally influenced by his parents who both served in the armed forces.

“Throughout my life, I had people in the military who had told me good things and told me all the benefits I could get and the process,” he said.

Campbell reports to West Point July 3rd where he plans to pursue a career in Special Forces.
