“The person that has been the most influential on my life has been John Waits. John Waits is my boyfriend. We have been dating for the past 3 years, almost.

We met one day when we were both on our way to track practice. We met on the freshman sports bus on the way to the main campus to go to track practice. The only open seat left was mine, so he asked me if he could sit with me. He saw me scrolling through Snapchat and even asked to add me as well. Even after practice we talked some more.

He has influenced my life in many ways. He has influenced my life a lot because a lot of the time my grades were not as leveled out as I needed them to be. He helped me stay on track and on top of those grades. He also helped me become more of a Jesus person.

One day he just brought me to church and ever since then I have just let God write my love story.”
